Dana Ann Miele joined Susan G. Komen Greater NYC in November 2016 as the Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships. Prior to joining Susan G. Komen Greater NYC, Dana was the Director of Development for the Arthritis Foundation in NYC and managed the nations #1 Walk to Cure Arthritis campaign. At Susan G. Komen Greater NYC, Dana also manages their nations #1 Race for the Cure as well as all of their fundraising campaigns including the Impact Awards Gala, Educational Conferences, Young Professionals Committee and Third Party Fundraising events. Dana brings incredible enthusiasm, compassion and energy to her position and is known for her keen attention to detail and her ability to handle the planning and logistics of large-scale events. She is able to motivate and manage committee volunteers, team captains, medical practices and corporate partners. Dana believes in the mission of Susan G. Komen that no one should die from breast cancer, and it is her personal mission and commitment to create more survivors. Dana lives in Westchester County, NY and received a BA from the University at Buffalo in Communication and Sociology.
