Certified Fundraising Executives (CFRE) can earn up to 3.75 CE credits per day for attending any bbcon session. Interested individuals are responsible for tracking each session they attend.
Earn CFRE credits for education
CFRE International offers the only internationally recognized baseline professional credential for philanthropic fundraising executives. As stewards of the public trust, Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) International certifies fundraising professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, skills and commitment to the highest standards of ethical and professional practice in serving the philanthropic sector. CFRE International fulfills this mission by establishing and administering a voluntary certification process based on current and valid standards that measure competency in the practice of philanthropic fundraising.

Earn CPE credits for education
As part of our continuing commitment to providing high-quality continuing professional education, Blackbaud is registered sponsor of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, a program offered by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). This registry recognizes that our continuing professional education for accountants meets nationally recognized standards.
Accountants are required by state governing boards to earn CPE credits to maintain and enhance their professional competence. As a registered sponsor, Blackbaud’s name and address is printed on a registry that is distributed to state boards of accountancy and made available to licensed accountants across the country. Blackbaud is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org

What are the pre-requisites for participation?
There are no pre-requisites to attend.
Is Advanced Preparation required?
No advanced preparation is required. Be sure to check the session description for more information.
What is the NASBA field of study?
All sessions belong to the Specialized Knowledge & Applications field of study.
How are the number CPE credits determined?
CPE credits are granted based on 50-minutes of instructional time. Participants are eligible for one CPE credit for all eligible sessions.
Is CPE credit automatically awarded?
No. CPE credit is not automatically awarded. Letters or certificates of completion are available upon successfully completing a session. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request proof of attendance. Once we confirm your attendance for the requested sessions, we will email you the certificate. Individuals are responsible for submitting this information to their respective State Boards of Accountancy.
